Disney Park Highlight
The Magic Kingdom is the radiating beacon of theme parks in America. It was created from Walt Disney’s dream of what a Disney park could be in Orlando. Walt had already built Disneyland in Hollywood California, but the Magic Kingdom wouldn’t open until 1971, after Walt has passed. The park is dedicated to fairy tales and Disney characters, and at its center sits the iconic Cinderella Castle. Last year, with over 20 million guests visiting the park, the Magic Kingdom was once again (for the 13th consecutive year) the most visited theme park in the World. The park is broken up into six enchanting areas, or lands: Main Street U.S.A., Liberty Square, Tomorrowland, Fantasyland, Frontierland, and Adventureland. The park is home to many of Orlando’s top attractions, including Pirates of the Caribbean, Space Mountain, Haunted Mansion, Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, and Happily Ever After.
